2019 Impact

LWV-CC made an impact in Collin County in 2019.

  • 6003 county residents from 19 cities and towns found valuable election information on vote411.org

  • 4268 county residents viewed our 20 online Voters Guides

  • 2000 printed Voters Guides were distributed throughout the county

  • 600 wallet cards and 80 brochures with election information were given to voters

  • 349 voters were registered at 12 events

  • 13 field trips were taken by members, including giving testimony about new voting machines at the Commissioner's Court, attending LWVTX Lobby Days in Austin, celebrating Women's Equality Day in Dallas, and more

  • 6 individuals were honored as Unsung Heroes of Foster Care at our annual luncheon

  • 5 organizations received our assistance for candidate forums

  • 5 educational forums were hosted or co-hosted by us, including Voting Machines, LWVTX Regional Training, Immigration, Redistricting, and Affordable Housing

  • 3 candidate forums were hosted or co-hosted by us for local elections

LWV is nonpartisan.  We never support or oppose any candidates or political parties.
