2020 Impact

  • 42,078 county residents from 17 cities and towns found valuable election information on Vote411

  • 12,536 users of the LWV-CC website

  • 10,744 voters viewed our 41 printable online Voters Guides

  • 5,000 printed Voters Guides were distributed throughout the county

  • Hosted 4 candidate forums

  • Assisted 5 organizations with 8 candidate forums

  • Completed 10 voter registration events and 124 registrations

  • Adjusted to the pandemic conditions and continued with our mission

  • Provided presentation and resource sheets to multiple ISDs in Collin County

  • Hosted an educational voting rights forum

  • Conducted Get-Out-The-Vote presentations for 8 organizations

  • Promoted a virtual celebration honoring the 100th anniversary of the founding of the League of Women Voters

  • Hosted a virtual celebration to commemorate the 100th Anniversary and signing of the Ratification of 19th Amendment

  • Provided 12,000 voter registration cards and 10,000 voter information wallet cards to USCIS for new citizen voter registration packets

  • Co-led voter registration of 2,686 voters at naturalization ceremonies

  • $2,250 was awarded to LWV-CC by LWVUS for new citizen voter registration
